What’s New & What’s Improved
Scheduling Assessments
Save Schedules for Easier Audit Planning
You can now save assessment schedules with all settings, get notified before they expire, and easily repeat or manage them from the new Saved Schedules tab.
How to Save Schedules
- When creating a new repeat schedule, check the “Save Schedule” option.
- Enter a name for the schedule.
- Optionally, check the box “Notify when schedule expires” to receive reminders before expiration.
- If this is selected, you will receive a notification 2 days before expiration, with schedule details and the option to repeat the schedule.
- Click Submit. Your schedule and all its settings (repeat pattern, dates, program, docs, and personnel) will be saved.
How to View and Extend Schedules
- Navigate to the Scheduling Calendar.
- Click on the Saved Schedules tab to view a list of all your saved schedules.
- Click on a schedule from the list and click Extend.
- A new schedule form opens with the same settings pre-filled (program, docs, auditors, repeat pattern, etc.).
- Adjust the Start Date and Due Date as needed.
New Calendar Date Filter in Scheduling Calendar
Filter assessments by specific date ranges to quickly focus on the time periods that matter most.
How to Use the Calendar Date Filter
- Navigate to the Scheduling Calendar.
- In the Interval dropdown choose Other to access the new Date Filter option.
- Use the date picker to set your desired date range.
- Check the box “Hide empty dates” to remove days with no assigned audits from view.
Dates more than 2 years in the past or future will be greyed out. Once you select a start date, the end date is limited to 2 months after the start.
New Document Filter in Scheduling Calendar
You can now filter assessments by specific documents in the Calendar, making it easier to focus on only the programs and documents you manage.
How to Use the Document Filter
- Navigate to the Scheduling Calendar.
- Select Filter.
- Select the Documents dropdown to view all documents available to you.
- Check the boxes of the documents you’d like to filter on.
- Once applied, only assessments tied to your selected documents will appear on the Calendar.
Conducting Assessments
Flexible Assessment Uploads
Fix upload issues on the spot with new controls that show you what’s blocking the upload and what you can do about it.
How to Upload in Offline Mode
If your network connection drops while uploading an assessment, EASE gives you two options: Try Again or Postpone Upload. Select:
- Try Again if your Wi-Fi was only interrupted briefly.
- Postpone Upload to save your progress and complete the upload once you’re back online.
When an upload is postponed, you’ll see a “Waiting to Upload” message at the bottom of your screen and a circle icon in the top-right corner.
Once you’re reconnected, tap either the “Waiting to Upload” notification or the circle icon. From there:
- Open the assessment from the dialog.
- Review your submission.
- Select Submit and watch your assessment upload in real time.
Action Plans
Action Plans Now Support Multi-Site Management
You can now create and manage Action Plans across multiple sites, allowing you to assign tasks to users at different locations, improve collaboration, and ensure compliance across your organization.
How to Use Multi-Site Action Plans
- Create an Action Plan (either from the blue + sign or Findings > Action Plans tab).
- Your home site will display as the Site by Default.
- Select a Document and add the Title and Summary for the Action Plan.
- Select additional sites.
- Assign Owner(s) and Approver(s) – you will only see users from the selected locations (plus org-wide users).
- Choose a Due Date and click Start.
Automatic Approval for Action Plan Tasks
When an Action Plan task or sub-task is closed by a user who is also the approver of the task, the system will automatically approve it without sending notifications.
How This Works
- If the task owner is also the approver, closing the task will trigger automatic approval.
- The approver will not receive notifications in this scenario.
- The comment field is auto filled with “Automatically approved.”
Organization
Shift Settings
Flexible Shift Settings for Overnight Teams

- To edit an existing shift:
- Select the shift you want to update.
- Open the menu (three vertical dots).

EASE API
Audit & Finding List Enhancements: We’ve expanded the Get Audit List and Get Finding List API calls to enable you to get the same data you would when looking up Assessments or Findings in the EASE Admin tool.
View Personnel Associated to Findings: The Findings endpoints in the EASE API now include personnel details directly in the response payload.
Create a Finding: You can now use the EASE API to create ad-hoc findings for faster issue capture and resolution.
Filter by Program Status: You can now filter programs in the EASE API by enabled or disabled status.
And what’s fixed — Bugs We Squashed
- For Documents in Programs where “Schedule by Layer” is off, the Scheduling Maximum field in Doc Settings now defaults to blank to reduce confusion while scheduling.
- Fixed an issue where users without the correct permissions could reassign the Responsible or Approving Party on Findings. These fields are now restricted to Finding Managers (for their assigned Findings) and Finding Admins (for all Findings).
- Fields in Conduct Assessment now appear in the same sequence as defined on the Group page.
- Prevented hourly assessments from being scheduled in the past and added clearer past-date warnings and site time zone alignment for accuracy.
- Custom Report Panel names now persist when sharing a dashboard.
- Fixed an issue where PDFs generated from the Document page and the Conduct Assessment page displayed questions in different orders. Both exports now show questions in the same, correct sequence.
- Resolved an error that prevented AI-generated Training from previewing when using Video or Document files.
- Trainings without assigned locations are now included in Report Panels, ensuring full visibility across all training data.
- Resolved an issue on mobile browsers where the keyboard would close immediately after opening when typing within an assessment.
